“Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.” -James 1:12

Though the context of this is regarding faith under fire, trials and difficult situations of life can be sources of trial in faith to God. How often do we see people neglecting their faith & leaving the church for the sake of things [such as school, work, etc.] that are tangential to the bigger picture in life?

The reality of this is that life is hard. And faith is tested at every corner of our hearts, especially in trials.

Nevertheless, we have this to hold on to:
“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” – Romans 8:31

It goes even further:
“He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?” -Romans 8:32

Not to say that God is some mythical Santa Claus from above, but the point remains the same: God gave his very best to us.

Think about it.
If God gave up his precious Son to save us, what can he not do?

The mere fact that our mighty King is for us
is enough to be thankful.

So let’s face down our difficult life situations and say this:
“We got a good thing going for us;
there’s a light at the end of the tunnel.”

Semper Fidelis.
Stay steadfast and faithful to the very end.
And know this,
I AM for you.
